After two successful seasons, India’s first live reality show Rising Star returned with its third season on March 16. In the third season, Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh returned as judges but singer Monali Thakur was replaced by Neeti Mohan, while Ravi Dubey was replaced by Aditya Narayan. Tonight, the singing reality show will have its finale and will come to an end with the announcement of its winner.
The four finalists who will fight for the coveted trophy are Diwakar Sharma, Sanjay Satheesh, Aftaab Singh and Abhishek Saraph. According to reports actor Shahid Kapoor and singer Udit Narayan will be special guests for Rising Star 3 grand finale. Shahid Kapoor will be on the show to promote his upcoming movie Kabir Singh.

Diwakar Sharma: The Delhi lad has earlier participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs and was first runner-up on the show. The talented singer is visually impaired and owns a beautiful voice. Not just in music but Diwakar has also excelled academically. In 2013, he was CBSE topper in 12thboard exams.
Sanjay Satheesh: The 25-year-old singer is from Calicut, Kerala. He started singing since he was six years old. Sanjay doesn’t have many friends but he has become good friends with Diwakar Sharma and would miss him after the show comes to an end.
Aftaab Singh: 12-year-old Aftaab Singh is the youngest among the four finalists of Rising Star 3. Aftaab learns music from his father and has also participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017 and was among top 7.
Abhishek Saraph: Rising Star finalist Abhishek Saraph is from Maharashtra’s Solapur. He has earlier appeared on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi. The 21-year-old singer is a trained singer and also sings at local concerts. Abhishek is a student of engineering and he left his final year exam to audition for Rising Star.
